That’s okay. Encourage him to LISTEN to the Bible. We want our Christian young men to lead, but they can’t effectively do it without the Bible. Challenge them to read or listen to it daily because God’s Word is a “lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Teach them seek God’s will through His word. Joshua 1:8 is clear. "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." Then, give them opportunities to lead by sharing God's Word, serve their community, and stand up for what is right. By instilling a love for God's Word and equipping them to lead, they could be the spiritual change our world needs.
He just has no desire to read the Bible.
